Have been a client of Mike Wetmore of Ryan & Wetmore for over twenty years. They prepared corporate returns for our three business and also our personal ones as well. Cannot begin to relay how outstanding our relationship has been. Mike embodies what every individual or corporation wants to be able to say with authority: "I'll have my accountant get back to you". Years ago, one of our businesses underwent an IRS audit. When all parties convened at the conference table, Mike arrived in a whirl of "I got this". Aside a 2' tall binder of every accounting entry, ever for our business, Mike would proceed to answer IRS questions one by one, by opening the binder and pointing to an obscure, but pertinent entry, and thus the box was checked. This occurred repeatedly until all the questions were answered. I expected SOME negative outcome, fore no one is perfect. Result? NO ISSUES FOUND. Such a perfect audit was probably WORTH MORE than Mike's reasonable fees - the corporations and we are now IRS poster children. Point: Tax compliance is a HUGE potential liability. You need an advisor that eats, sleeps and breathes this stuff. An advisor that lives in the "real" world. An advisor with impeccable client integrity. You need Ryan & Wetmore.
