I brought in a 30-year-old clock (which I had bought there) because I thought it needed a new mechanism. The gentleman diagnosed and explained the problem, showed me what he did to fix it, and charged me only $50 for the repair. A new mechanism would have cost more than $700. You can trust these people!

Repaired gear mechanism and pendulum on grandfather clock. Cost. $900. The clock specialist Donnie Sobel does good work. Well worth the money if you are willing to wait, especially since his estimated completion times are way off; a 3-month job was considerably (several months) longer. Still, I'll continue patronizing this business because of its quality.

Repaired my antique grandfathers clock and put it in good working order. Came to my house with a scheduled appointment, was very careful on working space, had his own work pad to protect table. Leveled the clock when finished. Very personable and a pleasure to do business with. Price was quite reasonable.
