Mike from MER Waterproofing was awesome to work with. He came out to my house, listened to my issue, gave me my options to fix the issue, and gave me his honest opinion which helped me select the right solution for my basement. His crew showed up the next day to work. Andreas was professional, kept the work area clean, and did a fantastic job of installing my waterproofing solution. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew. They listened to my problem and offered a right-sized solution at a very competitive price. If you have any waterproofing needs I would definitely recommend MER Waterproofing.

I called for an estimate for assessment and recommendations for repairs to my crawl space...the men came out, spent 15 minutes, they used a 10 foot long pipe to take measurements of my building and crawl space, saying they forgot their measuring tape. Then the boss then calls and tells me they cant work on my crawl space as it is too small....I have had prior vendors work on it...did not understand why he cant other than he said his men are too big for my crawl space

MER was a lifesaver for us. Our 65 year old townhome had developed complex water issues (decades of hydrostatic pressure, bowing front wall, inadequate old sump that was not installed to code, etc). We researched exhaustively and consulted with several well known local waterproofers, who offered opinions all over the map. We had trouble getting some of them to follow up once they realized we were not looking for a cookie cutter solution — we knew we needed a thoughtful approach. Mike from MER was a godsend. He listened, understood the problem, and came up with a comprehensive approach tailored to our situation on a hill, our marine clay soil, our foundation type, and our goals. Doing this right was not cheap, but it was worth every penny. We completed the work almost a year ago and our basement has been 100% dry. Thanks to MER, we finally felt confident to completely renovate and re-finish the basement this year. At one point our renovation contractor disturbed the drainage system while installing plumbing under the slab. We contacted Mike and he came out to check it out, and he ended up re-filling it with fresh stone. MER stands by their work, and the system continues to work great. We can’t recommend them highly enough.
