POSITIVES: 1. Great value if willing to give a bit on quality. He has charged $25 a week for my small single family yard since I began using his services in April 2014. I see his trucks in the neighborhood several days a week so it seems he has quite a large clientele in the immediate area (Lowes Island, Virginia, not too far from the Trump gold course). 2. Staff are friendly. I regularly see Samy out working with his crew on the hottest of days. 3. The company gladly takes on special projects. Samy has transplanted two trees for me, planted four very large shrubs (rootballs were 24" across), and softset-installed 24"x36"x1" bluestone pavers twice, creating spacious patios at the front stoop and under the deck. NEGATIVES: 1. Overzealous with the weedwhacker, so some patches of grass are cut almost to ground level, tree trunks are scarred, and flower stems ($14.99 each) are whacked off. Perhaps this is partly due to his crew almost always coming to my yard late in the day and they are tired. I installed a metal flowerbed border and metal tree rings as protection. But then I've experienced FAR WORSE with "Blade Runners" years ago. Blade Runners not only mowed down my light post (I found it laying in the grass), but took out a piece of sidewalk the size of my fist with their metal edger. As I said, far worse than Samy.
