Doug came up with a solution to a problem I've been having for years with the A/C condensation line freezing when the temps get into the teens. Just when you need heat the most!

I was pleased to read in the latest issue that you encouraged getting a number of bids, check for possible rebates before deciding on who to work with, and get a good contract. I bought a new heat pump system from Doug at East Hill Heating and Cooling in March 2022. Sadly I accepted that Doug could not repair my broken thermostat for my old heat pump system in 2020 and after a year I decided to replace the system. I called Doug and he provided me with a new heat pump and furnace. I ended up with the lowest grade heat pump that did not qualify for a rebate. When I called to ask about the rebate, Doug's wife told me that they do not bother with rebates. I also discovered that they do not bother with permits. I blame myself for trusting them and did not do due diligence to get a quality, energy star system that would save me. Please highlight the end of your article on pages 40 and 41 of the Fall/Winter 2023 issue.
