I called for a dryer repair. All appointments are completed on-line & the window is 8 am-5 pm. They send you confirmation by email & text. On the day of the service, a text is sent indicting how many customers are ahead of you & what is the expected arrival time. The first day, I received 1 update, then silence for hours, then an arrival time after 7pm. About 5 pm, Ireceived a call from repairperson that their phone was in dead zone, then they had brake problems so no show that day. He said he would reschedule me for next day, but it may be different repairperson. I received an email & text confirming new appointment. The next day, there was no text update. After 5 hours, I looked for a contact number, but there is NO human to talk to, only an automated bot. I inputted my service number & bot says my appointment was in the past. Frustrating!! Two days wasted! I finally called another repair company, & by the error code, he could tell me by telephone that it was the board & replacement parts were no longer available. It would have cost me $139 diagnostic fee for Sears to tell me the same thing. I replaced my dryer the next day. Not purchasing a Kenmore again because the service is awful.

We had Sears Home Services send a technician out to our new home simply to check the installation of our washer & dryer... He said it was good to go... It wasnt... My wife kept getting error code IE when she tried to run a washload... Turns out the water connections were backwards so that when it appeared they were turned on, they were actually turned off...Sears commuication was terrible.. They didnt even send the technician back.
