Dr. Goorah had an aggressive apprach involving crowns (11 in all), root canal treatment, crown extensions, even to treat a tooth cavity. The technical staff cared little to relieve apin and distress. Temporary crowns were repeatedly shoved into the gums of teeth #9,10, two upper front teeth, after root canal treatment. Each time, the temporary crowns fell off. It was the lack of getting pre-approval from my dental insurance provider, Principal Dental Insurance, resulted in major bills even though I had $2,000 of services through Principal. Repeatedly, Aspen Hill General & Cosmetic Dentistry would apply for dental coverage following procedures so rarely got dental coverage through Principal.

Difficult to communicate with Dr. Goorah. Felt that I was not being consulted about treatment plan and that options were not fully presented. Had inordinate inoffice waiting time to be called for treatment by Dr. Goorah. Once in treatment room had to wait even longer for treatment to be completed. She would appear, do a small part of the treatment, leave me waiting, come back to do another small part, leave me waiting, etc. I had to assert myself many times. I had to have extensive treatment and finally switched to another dentist because my visits were becoming unbearable.
