1. Ads for quality work and superior service are greatly overstated. a. The work was expensive and sloppy. To correct the shower leak, the plumber sawed through more than 3/4 of the way through all wall studs leaving 3/4" at most of all 2/x4s. I had to hire handyman to moderate the problems the inept plumber caused. To completely correct the problem with the studs, I will have to tear out the wall and replace them all entirely. b. At their request, I sent them pictures of the sloppy work. I neither received a response or an apology. 2. Invoice did not separate the cost into parts and labor. The office said it is not their policy to separate the cost of labor and part and would not tell me what the split was. This is contrary to every other job I've ever had done and doesn't seem right or legal. 3. Invoice did not specify the name and model of the water heater. I had to ask 3 times to get an invoice that gave me that information. 4. I did not get warranty information, operations manual with the new water heater. I will not do business with Nahman plumbing again. I am surprised this company is so highly rated.

We had a VERY odd experience with this company. We had a toilet problem and someone came out on a service call ($95). He didn't have the parts and said he would get back to us soon when he got them. I told him we were going out of the country and needed the leak to be fixed in no more than a week. I then heard nothing. I called on two successive days only getting an answering service promising a callback. Nothing. We left for three weeks, returned, and immediately called to find out what was up. Again, told we would get a callback. Nothings. Called again days later. Nothing. Then began to call demanding that they reverse the $95 service call charge. After several MORE calls they finally did. No apology and no explanation. If they didn't want the work, why not tell us immediately, return our $95, and be done with it, and let us move on to someone who will fix our toilet? I've never been treated this way by any company and I'm puzzled -- they are supposed to be a reasonable company.
