We've been going to Acadia for a few years, and we've had a lot of problems. Just a couple of examples: Recently, we brought in a cat for an annual checkup and rabies vaccination. They didn't finish the exam on the day it was scheduled, so we brought her in again the next day. They finished the exam and billed us. Later, I realized they hadn't provided a vaccination certificate. After three phone calls, I finally figured out that they hadn't vaccinated her, even though they knew she was due for a booster shot. I had to drive her back in for a third visit to get the shot. There were worse problems. One of the techs said something about kidney disease when we dropped our cat off. After the checkup, they told us that everything checked out fine, and that the cat was perfectly healthy. The vet was supposed to talk to us, but didn't. I kept calling back to ask about the kidney disease, and finally, after about a week a woman named "Mingee" called me and assured me the cat was healthy and there was no kidney disease. When I told her that a tech had mentioned it, she got upset and demanded to know who it was. Eventually, the vet (Eric Griesshaber) called me and told me that they had known the cat had kidney disease since last year's checkup! Those are just a couple of examples with one of our cats. There have been more issues, big and small.
