Daniel Blum is outstanding! He previously recommended an excellent plumber when I wasn’t even a client so when I was told I needed a new roof, I called him to get an objective and independent assessment. Before then, I solicited reviews from several roofers recommended by Consumer Checkbook—before realizing that, as good as they are, they all had a vested interest in their assessments because they would be the ones to make money from me as a client. So I contacted Daniel Blum. He gave me all the information I needed so that I could comfortable moving forward rather than blindly groping in the dark as I had been before. He not only got on my roof and took photos and wrote up an excellent and comprehensive but easy to understand report; he also helped me decipher the technical language of the various bids I got from roofers to choose the one best for me. All homeowners should hire him or another home inspector to get an objective analysis before making a major on a major home improvement like a new roof.

I hired Daniel Blum to do a full inspection of my home so I could fix any issues before putting it on the market. He did an extremely thorough job and provided me with a detailed report identifying all issues and recommending repairs. Daniel is by far the best home inspector I've ever encountered.

Based upon the superlative reviews in Checkbook I called upon Daniel of Integrity Home Inspection Services to review my property and I now see why his firm is so recommended - he did an outstanding job. Based upon the address provided he gave us a reasonable up-front quote and came out within days of our first contact. He started out by providing a very comprehensive binder that described not only what he would be doing during his visit but which could be used as a home maintenance reference as well. Perhaps because one of his primary roles is to point out deficiencies in a property he would often interject complementary comments as well - not sure if this was to keep our spirits up but it was appreciated! At his encouragement my wife and I accompanied him during his extensive inspection and in addition to pointing out issues that he would later incorporate into his report he also would often just toss out little home maintenance tips that we very much appreciated. His emailed report came shortly after the inspection and was followed the next day by a mailed printed copy as well, including sheets that could be included into the binder he'd provided during his visit. All in all an excellent job and I can highly recommend his services.
