Up until and including our June 3, 2020 appointment, ARS' employees were always exemplary. However, after we signed up for a plumbing contract in July and scheduled an appointment on July 31 to check and rod two sinks, we have had several problems. The individual who came on July 31 said he only had equipment to check our water heater. We had to call to schedule another appointment for the sinks, and when the "senior plumber" arrived on August 7, he said the first person had not reported the concern correctly, and he couldn't rod the sinks either. At our third appointment, there were three people, and one of them didn't speak English well enough to know how to complete the necessary forms. On September 16, we scheduled our usual furnace inspection. The individual who came did not do anything, and when we contacted Mr. Wade and informed him that having multiple people in our home since July 31 unnecessarily put us at risk, since we are at risk for COVID-19 anyway, he stated he could not make people do their jobs. We had to reschedule the second appointment for health reasons, and we informed Mr. Wade that if service at that appointment also was unsatisfactory, we would contact Corporate. Upon receiving that text, Mr. Wade not only behaved unprofessionally, but he strongly suggested to cancel the contract because we are "not a good fit." Under the circumstances, we have to agree. During a pandemic, sending multiple people to accomplish one service request is at least inappropriate.
