Called Doc Rick to fix my 5 year old Kenmore Elite Washer that had a "LE" code and would not run. Rick came two days after I called. Very nice Guy. Did not have a clue how to fix the machine. Googled "LE" code on his phone. Took off the back of the machine and stared at it. Said he would have to talk to some of his friends in the business to find out how to fix it and left. Charged me $40 (OK, cheap enough). Called back the next day and said he didn't know how to fix my machine and nobody he knew did either. He recommended I call ABT because they have the best service department around (but expensive - his words). I am grateful he did not just start changing parts without knowing what the problem was and he was honest enough to tell me he did not know how to fix it. The rest of the story: I watched a couple of YouTube" videos and gambled that the problem was the rotor position sensor. I ordered the part from Amazon for $9.99 and installed it myself. The machine works great now (I got VERY lucky). I think Rick is great guy but if you have a newer machine you may want to call someone else.
