Have had Shavitz out several times. The first was for an emergency and they did good work. Every visit after I've been plagued with relentless upselling from incompetent and/or discourteous technicians. First guy left a vital switch "off" on the roof, second guy told me over and over how if it wasn't their fault I would have to pay for it. When it was, there was no "sorry we messed up" " only dire warnings about equipment that was going to fail imminently without a large infusion of cash. Most recently, got a bid on furnace replacement because they told me they could not install a humidifier on my current system. That turned out to be perfectly possible for another supplier, and I will go with that company in the future.

Shavitz provides great service but at a price. They are more expensive than others and will try to sell you add-ons that you may not need.
