In 15 years of owning my house, UHE is by far the worst home contractor I've ever dealt with. They replaced all siding and several windows on our home. The window work was adequate, but the siding job was a disaster, almost from start to finish. The salesman painted a rosy picture, but I got the impression that he did not communicate with the project manager. The project manager communicated poorly with the homeowners and with the (subcontracted) team foreman, and the foreman did a poor job of supervising his crew. They caused damage to our house in many places, left our yard a total mess, and did not take care of our building materials or even their own tools. We had to have them redo work many times to get it right. The only reason the house looks good in the end is that we (the homeowners) had to take the time and effort to supervise the work ourselves. They tried to gaslight us that the damage that we saw was preexisting, but fortunately we had taken lots of pictures. The project dragged on and on way past the original estimate. Upper management at UHE tried too little, too late to remedy any of our bad experience. It's not clear how much the project manager was truthfully communicating with anyone (within UHE or with us). We wAvoid at all costs.
