Long story with the original salesperson which I won't get into except I was led to believe I was getting hi-index lenses which when noticed on the sales slip I saw polycarbonate which for my prescription is literally too thick. I called about it and was met with sarcasm from the original salesperson. He may deny that of course, so I asked to speak to the manager. She was rude and condescending and basically calling me a liar without using those words. She also hung up on me intentionally. They did straighten it out but you can see based on this what I had to go through. I was trying to be helpful myself, put a stop to the polycarbonate lenses for 1.67 hi index. I went to pick up the glasses today (3/5/2026) and a salesperson James Curry helped me out. He was literally FANTASTIC, polite, and handled the initial adjustments on the new glasses perfectly and more importantly, professionally. His manners were impeccable and he was easy to talk with and didn't seem put out at all. The review is geared toward my original salesperson and also the manager of the store. I was NEVER told my lenses would be polycarbonate (although we did discuss cost) and he put me in that material without telling me. I noticed it on my receipt later in the day. I would have been much more receptive for an honest error, but he was put off by me (dismissive) for whatever reason. I called there to tell them to put a stop to those lenses and was ready to talk about the hi index. He proceeded to tell me in a relatively snappy tone that it would be another 200, etc. Come to find out on a later call (where I wished I had someone else) that the increase was actually around 115, etc. I asked to speak to the manager of the store. She was rude the entire time and finally said OK and literally hung up on me. This is a manager of a store. When they called me to say the correct glasses were in whoever called was polite and mannered, something I had not had previously (the total opposite in fact). I went to pick them up and if all of the employees were like the guy that helped me (James Curry btw) it would have been a totally pleasant experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend him. I can't speak about the other salespeople there as I didn't deal with them. My only wish is I had James Curry from beginning to end. He was exceptional in all aspects! I guess it depends who you are dealing with. If you have any problems and you deal with the manager (who literally hung up on me and answered the call in a "ready to fight" mode which was not my intent) be prepared for rudeness. I've never, in all my 70 years had a manager of anywhere hang up on me and without using the word liar was calling me a liar before she hung up. Because of her and how she treated me, I will never be back to this store. As I said, James Curry is exceptional. He literally was exceptional and professional the whole way through when I went to pick up my glasses! Managerial material!

Although some staff members on the floor are lazy and not of much help, Bill, the head optician, is great. I've never gotten a bad pair of glasses from him. That's why I keep going there.
