Glasses were not correct to begin with. They required a new script as mine was 14 months old from private dr. Their dr. gave me a new script that was stronger even though my old one was perfectly fine. The new glasses were never right- couldn't read street signs until they were just about at the car bumper and saw close things great. These are my driving glasses- not acceptable. Returned to complain twice- adjusted the angle of the glasses and seemed a bit better but still couldn't see well enough to drive with them. Good thing I still had my old ones to use. Gave up and put them away for dire emergencies. Recently returned to my eye dr. and he said the script was not correct and was indicative of the mistakes often made by young and less experienced opticians. Very much like a camera can take a closeup and fade the background, these glasses gave me good closeups and faded street signs and things that were farther away. Not good for driving. Am having new lenses made elsewhere using my old and still valid script. What a waste of $400. Learned my lesson and will never to to Lenscrafters again.
