I am rating Needham Garden Center for an end-of-season service for lawnmower repair, in the fall. My husband had hit a rock with the lawnmower and did something to the blade. Strange loud noise. We brought it in to Needham Garden Center for repair. In 2 days we got a call that service was completed. They said it was a bent blade, and that they had replaced it. They said they checked to make sure everything was ok, and ensured me that the strange noise was entirely gone. When I took it home to mow my lawn, an intermittent grating sound was still there, and the old blade was still there. Despite a pricey repair, the lawnmower was still not usable. I called them back. They said to bring it in for another look, but I was surprised to hear that additional servicing was NOT offered free of charge, despite their mishap. I will hesitate before going there again for lawnmower servicing.

Very well informed and courteous staff. Worth the extra few dollars.
