My cat died because they, over a period of 7 to 10 days, refused to see him in the ER because of some rumors that was narrated against us at the time. They believed those that told them that it was not an emergency. He had a rare condition and his symptoms suddenly flared. His history was there so it was important that they see him. They themselves recognized his strange inflammatory issues and lost of all teeth before I got him. I was also low on funds so I could not go from place to place. After he passed away, during a phone call with a rep, I did ask if there were rumors known to them that they are acting on that is not office politics type of rumors that impacts my access to service and she asked which one. And I said there are others dealing with this (?) and she eventually denied any rumors. She then offered that I talked to a Supervisor, which I agreed. I asked for her name and she said you tell me yours first - which she already knows due to the caller ID. When I said can I have the name of the supervisor, she just hung up on me. Very unprofessional in participating in the rumors and heartless as an institution.

I would take a younger dog there for care but my dog was eleven. I felt like they thought he was too old to help when he walked in and no matter the outcome they were going to suggest euthanasia. It's been months and my dog is happy and enjoying his last days at home. It was too soon to put him down and I'm glad a didn't listen.
