I used this company for many years, and was a loyal customer having cleaning done twice every year and paying right away. It took a few years, but I finally got the foreman to understand that I don't want debris from the gutters thrown on my shrubs/foundation plantings, but rather put in plastic bags as it's removed. They did a good job after that. We always agreed on the price before the work was done. But last time, I received a bill for 17% more than we had agreed. The time before, one of the workers saw the end of one gutter loose and hanging. He climbed a ladder in about 30 seconds and fastened it with a screw in one additional minute. The foreman decided to charge me $20 for that minute-and-a half of labor and probably 10-cent screw. So, after two experiences of being price-gouged, I'm done with this company. There are a million gutter-cleaning companies. In 10 minutes of phone calls, I got two bids for the old price I had been paying.
