USED THEM FOR 30+ YEARS when Dr. Brown and Dr. sidor were there but have they have since retired. New people. Never use Dr. Melissa Reidy. she saw my 2 dogs and sent one out to my car with feces on her butt and tail..the dog having been frightened by her experience there (covid partly to blame since I cant go in with her), but NO ONE EVEN BOTHERED TO CLEAN HER OFF. when i finally talked on phone to Dr Reidy, she never asked me anything about my dogs, etc. just started saying they were too fat (not true at all maintain their weight within a few ounces) had tartar and gum disease (only one very back tooth had any tartar..the rest spotless white on two 11 year old healthy, active Jack Russells who look like babies) and was more interested in selling services (teeth/gums/their food, for ex) that are not needed. If you go there, see Dr. Fink or Prowell (if she is still there). this was a bad experience for my dogs. I am now looking for another vet. also they now bombard you with text messages everyday until your appt to make sure you show uP? very very annoying.... so disappointed...

Had been going to Beltsville Vets for more than 20 years. The ratio of veterinarians to clients has gotten to the point where it takes 3 weeks to get an appointment to get a blood test - something a tech should be able to perform. Vets float in an out no consistency of staff. Prices have risen recently but are still very reasonable.

We've used this vet for many years. I feel their prices have risen lately which is hard nowadays. They are usually pretty accommodating, but there are times I call and get put on hold for more than 10 minutes at a time. I hang up, call back and they take me right away without me saying anything. I think they forget people who were put on hold.
