Top of the line 7 windows, $24,000. Picture window arrived without shade. Picture window had a defect, scratch in the coating 2 feet long visible from 10 feet away. Shade installation sent one man to remove a 65 inch wide picture window. Work order from installation crew stated 2 man job. Replacement of scratched picture window damaged exterior trim. Again more manpower needed to lift the double pain picture window while on a ladder. Replacement of the trim revealed inadequate foam insulation around between the window and house framing. I should have had them remove all of the trim to inspect the previous work. Would not ever have Pella install windows again.

I recently had a Pella window and door replacement project involving all the glass windows and doors in my Florida room and old Pella windows in my breakfast and kitchen areas that dated back to 1984. I used the Pella group in Beltsville, MD and Bethesda, MD. I am a Pella person as I believe that they make the best quality windows and that the overall process is the top of the line. The entire process and project and process went smoothly, and I am delighted with the results. The estimator did a thorough job waking me through the available options and provided a price estimate that I found to be reasonable. They were very clear on the installation date and what I would need to do to get ready. The installation went as scheduled, and I love my new windows and doors. The workmen were diligent and respectful and answered all of my questions. The supervisor stopped by periodically and provided me updates on the job. He also was thoughtful and personable. I could not be happier with my new windows and doors. This job confirmed for me why I am a "Pella Person." Thank you.

Called to get an estimate on repairing the glass on a Pella door. As requested, we sent them photographs and measurements and never heard back. Seems like they only want to sell new products, not repair their products.
