I recently had a porch in an older home repaired by Deanwood Decks. I am extremely happy with the outcome. Tom was very thoughtful about discussing options about what repairs could be done, how they would be done, and the materials used. They repaired the porch in the time frame that they said they would. Their prices were competitive. I would highly recommend them.

Deanwood Decks was amazing to work with. Tom is extremely knowledgeable and his suggestions were perfect for the final design of the deck. Once the deck was started, it went pretty quickly despite it being winter and quite cold. Andrew is a skilled and hard worker and just the nicest guy, as is Tom. I now have the deck of my dreams and I am enjoying it immensely. A great experience from beginning to end. Highly recommended. Thank you Tom and Andrew!

Our wooden decks (the main deck off our living room 13x11' and one off our kitchen 5x8') were in dire need of repair or replacement. Historically it had been my job as homeowner to do the work. But at the age of 75, I no longer had the stamina to relay the deck floor or replace the railings both of which had rotted out to varying degrees. After obtaining several estimates from others listed in Checkbook, we decided to go with Deanwood Decks. Their pricing was very reasonable. We were not in the least bit disappointed. We had two options: repair the wooden deck and replace the defective boards with pressure treated wood or tear down the wooden decks and go with Trek. We decided on the latter...and couldn't be more pleased. Andrew did all the work alone in two weeks last October (2025) and is a master in working with this material. When he completed the tear down on on the main deck's framework, he found that a 2x12 pressure treated board adjacent and attached to our addition was decayed. He replaced it. Both were finished on time and the site was cleaned up perfectly. We cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of the company. We are now hiring them to install deck panels/skirting to hide the area underneath both decks. We have absolute confidence in their workmanship and diligence to the work required.
