We have worked three times with this company in the last two years. They have done everything from repairing drywall, filling and painting cracks, and repairing and painting our porch. Gordon Franks is direct and efficient, happily provides proof of licensing and insurance, and writes the contracts. "Edgar" is a master carpenter who knows exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. "Victor" lead a team of painters who scaled our house to scrap and paint our attic vents among other areas. They came on time, worked straight through until finished (didn't even take a lunch break), were organized, skilled, polite and respectful of our property. We highly recommend this company. They may not be the cheapest, but they were reasonably and fairly priced and we believe you will find they are worth it.

HOSTILE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Two weeks after the initial consult, we sent Gordon a message saying that unfortunately we wouldn't be hiring them, but we thanked them for their time and effort and we wished them well. In response, he sent a completely uncalled for and nasty message claiming that we wasted his time. What kind of person runs a business this way? What if there was a scheduling conflict or some other issue to be resolved -- is this how he would handle it? With anger and hostility?

Gordon Franks gave us a reasonable estimate for the renovation of our kitchen (demo, install floor tiles, Porcelanosa cabinets (difficult), lighting and electrical. Roger and his crew did a fantastic job on everything, and were always good natured, on time and innovative. They were here every day until the job was complete, and the final bill exactly matched the estimate. We highly recommend Optima Designs for any type of home renovation project, especially jobs requiring expertise in the installation of Porcelanosa cabinets and large 2' tiles.
