I had the good fortune to find Reliable Electrical Associates in Checkbook several years ago, and today their expert electrician Tom did his third, terrific job for me. I can hardly find the words to express how thrilled I am with the results! I had faced the difficult problem of replacing wall lamps that were installed in my master bedroom around 45 years ago but that recently had begun to fail in various ways. Tom discovered all kinds of problems with the original installation, but he found creative ways to solve these, one by one, meanwhile protecting both my wallpaper and my delicate lacquer furniture. In the end, despite all the difficulties he had had to confront, he was able to complete a *perfect* installation of the replacement lamps! I continue to be so glad that I use Reliable Electrical Associates, and Tom, for my electrical work!

I can't recommend Reliable enough. I chose them based on the recommendations on Consumers Checkbook and I'm glad I did. I had a complicated electrical problem involving multiple circuits from old home additions that weren't working correctly and clearly would not be easy to resolve. I had a previous electrician ghost me after making multiple appointments and never showing up. But everything about my experience with Reliable was great - the initial phone consultation, the call back as promised to schedule an appointment (the next day), the electricians showed up on time, and they figured out the problem and resolved it (took an hour and a half!). And the price was very reasonable for the amount of effort involved.

I first found Reliable Electric through Checkbook.org, and have been very happy with their service. I have hired them to install various switching devices, wiring for a wall-hung TV, and hanging several fixtures including a 70-pound chandelier. They are friendly and prompt, and perform neat work.
