Suggested an installer that could not figure out how to lay a new, but second layer of tile and extend the drain. The tile was fine. The installer was completely ill-equipped to do the job. So I got a pro to do it.

After buying tile and paying an extra $100 for it to be delivered to my house, I discovered that delivery meant only to the curb. Not to the front porch, not to the front door, not to any door. When I called customer service, I was referred to the fine print on the delivery receipt I signed. This company made no effort to provide this basic service.

As tile suppliers (I don't think they do installations) they're great: comprehensive selection, good prices, good customer service. Nine months ago, I chose some gorgeous Italian tiles for a new bathroom, and at the time, they were available. Now we're under construction, and the contractor informed me that they're on an 8-week back-order. So I scooted over to Arch Ceram, and Mandy was waiting there with a selection of similar tiles that were more readily available. With her help, I was able to find "Plan B" tiles that are even more beautiful than the ones I'd originally chosen, and that aren't any more expensive. So, project will remain on schedule and in budget, and the bathroom will be fabulous!
