Unicorp was one of 3 companies that bid on a project to replace a front entry door and another exterior door, using ProVia doors. These doors are expensive but prove to be even nicer and more insulating in person than I'd envisioned through the online style-selecting process, and it seemed best to "do it right once." The bids were competitive, and I chose Unicorp because of their responsiveness, professionalism, and straightforwardness. I also like that they are located near me and have a great reputation. They lived up to this with consistent, clear, pleasant, accurate communication at each step, an excellent installer, and responsiveness in making a couple of adjustments to the complex installation (old house with quirks) in the following days. I'm confident that if any issue arises with the doors, Unicorp will respond, true to their word. I recommend Unicorp highly and plan to call them back to replace windows and, eventually, siding and roof.

We needed to replace our sliding glass door. Customer reviews of Unicorp in Consumer Checkbook were very impressive. They turned out to be the low bidder of four companies. Their process worked as they stated at the beginning, with no surprises. The installation was professional and used the best techniques such as a drain pan and high quality OSI Quad Max sealant. The appearance and operation are top-notch. It should stay leak-free for decades.

I needed to have the sliding glass door between the living room and a balcony replaced. The sales person was very informative and helpful. I asked that the outside color be matched to my house's trim and window color. A few years ago, when they replaced five windows in my house, they arranged for the outside color of the windows to match the trim and door color. I was kind of wishy-washy on whether or not I wanted a security bar as an added measure to the security provided by the door lock. Eventually, I said that I would take the security bar. It went onto the contract. When I was ready to sign the contract, the sales person came back to my house for that. The measuring person arrived when stated and made the measurements. The installers actually arrived early. They removed the old vertical blind and disposed of it as I requested. They installed the new door. They didn't install the security bar and said that I hadn't requested it. I actually liked the look of the door without the security bar. I talked to the people at the office. They said that I could call back in a few days and say whether I wanted a technician to come by to install the security bar or not. If not, they would refund the cost of the security bar. In a few days, I said that I didn't want the bar. I eventually received the refund. If I have another need of Unicorp, I will hire them again.
