Company was middle of range from the estimates received for mold remediation at my mother's house. Nick, who did the estimation, was very responsive to all my questions and adjustments needed for the contract. However, the problems started with the project manager (PM) and his understanding of the scope of the project. Once the demolition was completed, the PM said he was not going to scrape the walls of the basement and said he was told only to do the demolition. I had call Nick and this fixed immediately. Also, when the toilet was removed, the PM did not put a stopper to keep the sewage smell from permeating through the house. When I ask him about plugging up the sewage pipe, he said he would do it the next time when he returns which is unacceptable if anyone had ever had their toilet removed. I had to plug the hold up myself. Also, the plumber they used did not cap all the pipes. This company had a 10 years warranty on their mold removal treatment but you have to purchase their dehumidifier and service contact. I had a dehumidifier install and the PM did not install the drainage pipe but instead shove the drainage tube through the cinder block wall. Nick had this fix the next day and the PM blamed it on his worker who did not speak English. Additional all the wall plates where bent when removing the drywall during the demolition and trash was left on the street from the dumpster. Nick said he would replace the plates and have the trash clean up but I pass since it was not worth another trip to my mother house. Lastly, in the contact it stated the any permits needed for the dumpster, it was the homeowners responsibilities. I had asked Nick if one was needed for my location and he said no. This was the wrong information and the City gave my mother a citation for not having a dumpster. I would give this company a C for execution of the project and F for communication. They did meet the contractual agreement but did not execute well. I would not use this company again in the future.

This company went back and forth between our structural engineer and their consultant at Structural Reinforcement Solutions to come up with the best solution and materials to correct the issue before giving us an estimate. They put in a lot of work before we even accepted their contract to do the work and patiently addressed our questions/concerns. Hopefully their work is just as good as their customer service so far.
