We were established patients. We had an emergency and were on our way to the office and called to notify the office of our arrival. We were told by the Doc NOT to come to the office even though the office was open. We ended up going to another clinic. The pet passed away the next day. The office was notified and neither the Dr nor anyone from the office ever reached out to us. We were shocked by the tone in the Dr’s voice and the lack of empathy. I cannot count the number of times appointments for a pet have been delayed because of an emergency. There are no words to express my anger and frustration. My pet was comfortable in that Vet’s office, and it would have meant the world to all of us if we have had bad news delivered by someone we trusted, and I am certain that our pet would have been less stressed if she had been in the hands of someone she trusted.

I have been a huge fan of Dr. Pema's for a long time. Recently, not only did her expensive and sloppy exam miss my dog's multiple leg wounds, but she also became very nasty when I reported back that my groomer found them - and thus the pain and suffering that he endured because of her inadequate medical attention. I will not use her again.
