Granite Discounters was a great “find” via a coupon in a local magazine. We contacted several companies – using Angie’s List and Washington Consumer Checkbook for research - for estimates to replace our kitchen countertops. Granite Discounters was able to come out on a Tuesday, and we ended up having our countertops installed that Friday! The other companies we contacted hadn’t even gotten back to us with a price yet. Yes, it was a whirlwind four days, but all the timing, scheduling, and decision-making just fell into place. The contractor that we have working on our kitchen (whom we trust) was thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Granite Discounters, from the initial measurement-taking, providing the estimate in a timely fashion, the price, and the quality of the installation (as well as the materials). And he pointed out that he’s not usually easily impressed. Everyone we dealt with at Granite Discounters was polite, friendly, and – most important – very helpful. Of course, it's only been a week since installation, so we can't comment yet on what might happen in the future (e.g. durability, response to problems, etc), but our initial experience dealing with Granite Discounters has been great, leaving no doubt that any problems that might come up would be dealt with quickly and professionally.
