We had a challenge in our 1961 house that seems to have been built to reduce fire risk. Our split foyer mid-century has metal lathe walls upstairs and steel studs and a drywall/plaster mix downstairs. We wanted to install a wooden Swedish ladder for yoga practice in the lower level. You can't put load baring fasteners on steel studs - you need the strength of wood. Building a new wall was too expensive Juaquino suggested installing two 2X6 pine boards fixed to the sides of the ladder on the wall surface - anchored to wooden joists in the ceiling and concrete in the subfloor. Worked perfectly The ladder is very solid -- can take full body weight pulling away on ropes. Very neat and pleasant workman and Jaime Juaquino is a pleasure to deal with

Jaime was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He gave us an estimate promptly and was good at keeping in touch by email about when his workers would start. It is often difficult to find highly skilled folks available to take on smaller projects like ours. His estimate was about 30% higher than another company, but we chose Jaquino because we had more confidence in Jaime. We are glad we did. His workers were extremely professional. They worked hard, did very good quality work, and cleaned up well. Both Jaime and his crew also wore masks inside without having to be asked, which we appreciated. We are very happy with the work. It was worth paying more for skilled workers.

The workers were careless with my landscaping while rebuilding my brick porch and steps. The owner gave me a generous allowance to hire a landscaper to fix the damage. This company was more expensive than other companies bids, however the job they did will last forever, while the others might not. I would hire them again, as their solution was superior to others.
