Dr. Arjomandi is my go-to optometrist. She is our family's optometrist and I can't wait until my new little guy is old enough to be seen by her.

I have Medicare Advantage coverage through Kaiser that includes optical care. While the eye doctor was great, the optician staff was not. They told me I could try on only three frames, They told me I was not allowed to even look at the frame selection while I was waiting. Their prices were quite high -- higher than the $300 limit I was allotted -- and I was not allowed to use it outside Kaiser. Very disappointing

I would recommend the vision center at Kaiser's Kensington location with some reservations. I got my last couple of pairs of glasses and lenses from them, and they've been fine. My last pair took about 10 days longer than expected, but they called me as soon as they were ready. The opticians were friendly. But lately it's impossible to really find frames that you want because you may only try on 5 pairs of frames per visit! This is a COVID precaution, but other places will let you try on many pairs of frames and simply put them in a container to be cleaned afterwards. They are also routinely behind schedule - 15-20 minutes on my visits. I waited about 15 minutes after my appt time this morning while both opticians appeared to be doing nothing but chatting with each other.
