We hired Bray & Scarff to remodel kitchen, powder room, and 2 bathrooms. They estimated it would take 8 weeks, but put 10-12 weeks in contract to allow for unexpected circumstances, and they have been working at the job for 10 months and are still not done. The office has been very difficult to deal with. Some of their contractors are excellent, some are inferior, but none have the leadership working for Bray & Scarff that will ever make customers happy. The design was inadequately spec'ed, the planning was very poor, communication was a joke. They came into the house and demolished the kitchen, powder room and master bath in 2 days and those rooms were not even minimally usable for 7 months. The contractors are scheduled and managed by the Bray & Scarff coordinator who knew absolutely nothing except when money was due. We were told workers would show up and they didn't, mostly they showed up unannounced. Of the 10 months they have worked on the house, they may have had someone onsite a total equivalent of 2 months but we were held to the house, not knowing if or when they were coming. The only thing they did well was collect payment. I would never recommend them to anybody, I do not know how they stay in business.
