My Toyota Hybrid Camry was at 355 Darcars dealership for over 8 weeks and I have never experienced such poor communication and misdiagnoses. For example, they first said my entire wire hamper needed to be replaced. However, it turned out there was nothing wrong with the wire hamper – there was a hole in the engine! Then they said that the hole must have been caused by my not ever changing the oil (I am sure that comment was made because I am a woman) – yet, I had proof that I changed the oil exactly according to Toyota’s recommendations. However, despite my Camry being within the 5-year warranty period and even their mechanic admitting he didn’t know what caused it, they said it was NOT covered by the warranty. So we had no choice but to agree to pay for them to put in a used engine. After the used engine was put in, the same exact cylinder misfired (which caused the hole) so they had to admit it was NOT my fault but rather the computer system was faulty and it was covered by the warrantee. During the 8+ weeks my car was there, I called them once a week to get an update – which I think is very reasonable. I would leave a message for either the Service Manager or the Customer Service Representative and yet it was rare to get a call back. At least 4 times, I resorted to physically showing up at the dealership just so I could get an update on my car. I will never return to Darcars for ANYTHING.

Years ago, I went to this dealership to buy a new Toyota Camry. I had my certified check from my credit union in hand. The sales manager told me I needed to complete a credit check. I held up the certified check and asked why I needed to do that, since I had funds in hand. He insisted. I refused. He wanted to confer with the credit union himself. He stepped out of the office and spoke to the credit union CSR for several minutes. Finally he agreed to honor my payment. The car's sale price was $23,100. The dealership's accountant kept telling me it was $24,700. I was about to walk out after he told me this for the fourth time after crunching the numbers. That was when the correct price miraculously came up on his screen. I finally received the keys, and drove away hours after I arrived in my new car. As I did so, I noticed there were no floor mats in my new Camry. When I returned a few days for the second key, I asked for my mats. I was told these would be extra. After a terse discussion, they sold me the mats for 80 dollars. Do not deal with these people.
