We have lived in our house for over 35 years, and thought our chimney would just need repointing, but it was in quite bad shape. Capitol repaired the chimney from the roofline up, and also repaired the top of a brick wall (about 6 Iines of bricks) that screened the a/c unit from the house. The crew carefully dismantled the chimney and wall, cleaned the bricks, and reused them. They were prompt, efficient, and finished the job in the same week. We were thrilled with the quality of their work.

They did a great job on a complete fireplace repair (remove old tiles, place insert, replace cap with new damper; parge lthe fire chamber, and point up the chimney bricks). They will return to pressure wash the chimney and seal the bricks. In addition, they removed a very heavy wood burning stove insert from another fireplace. They completely covered the work area, sealing it off to prevent the spread of dust, and left the area as clean as they found it. Moreover their price was significantly lower than another estimate.

Outrageously expensive. he serviced 2 gas fireplaces but only moved some embers around, changed the position of 2 logs on one fireplace and put batteries in remote. $450 for 20 min of work.
