Jorge Cortez has done many handyman jobs at my house over the past year. I originally found him on Checkbook and I have been extremely pleased with his outstanding workmanship and work ethic. He is a very friendly, pleasant, and highly skilled professional who takes pride in his work and pays attention to the details. He is very responsive, and always finds clever solutions to any problem presented. He cleans up after the work is completed and his fees are reasonable. I was very lucky to find him as he has repaired many issues I have had at the house such as repairing multiple aspects of a faulty double front door (thus avoiding the high cost of replacement), repairing and replacing closet shelving, repairing staircase banisters, replacing bathroom and kitchen caulking, replacing garage door weather strips and installing smoke alarms among other jobs. He is highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed if you hire Jorge Cortez. He is truly outstanding!

Came home this morning and my front steel door wouldn't close. This hinges had come off. I saw Jorge's listing and selected him since excellent comments were made about him and he was near where I lived. Within 2 hours he was at my house. He discovered many long term problems, took his time, and fixed them all. Jorge did an exceptional job on my door. It closes more easily and even the squeak is now gone. I'm pleased with his work and am VERY happy that I selected his name this morning. Thank you, Jorge!

I can’t say enough good things about Jorge. If you have a problem in your home and need help he is your guy. We have used his services on multiple occasions and will continue to do so for anything house related that I can’t fix, which would be pretty much everything. He is generous with his time and listens to and examines the problem and then gives excellent feedback and ways to solve the issue.
