Mr. Cortez performed a number of carpenter jobs for me over several years. This time, he reconstructed drywall and ceiling seriously damaged by a flood. As before, he did this job exceptionally well. Thoroughness and very high quality of the work, a desire to "go the extra mile" and make valuable suggestions set him apart from many similar specialists. Not to mention that, with this quality of work, he charged me almost a half of the amount wanted by a well-known company that does water damage reconstruction. So, I can most definitely recommend him very strongly.

We recently found Jorge Cortez in Checkbook and reached out to him about a couple of home projects. He met with us and was very nice and knowledgeable. He gave us very reasonable quotes to remove an ancient room AC unity embedded in our addition and remove an old Microwave and install a new one as well as fix the cabinet that was attached to the Microwave. Both projects went great and we are very happy with the work. We reached out to Jorge again about some painting and he and some helpers repaired and repainted most of our downstairs main level for a very reasonable price. Jorge also took on a final project to fix our sagging front door and provide better weather protection. Everything Jorge worked on came out great. The house looks great, and we look forward to working with Jorge again on other projects. We would recommend him to anyone who needs a handyman.
