We have had two projects done by J & G in the past year. The first was waterproofing the outside corner of the basement foundation, Sept of '24. We have had water in our basement off and on for many years. J&G crew (Zech, supervisor) were great to work with. We needed a special waterproofing material because our well head was near that corner of the house, and they were very flexible to accommodate this. They hand-dug deep trenches around the front corner of the house, sealed cracks, put layers of water proofing on and put everything back together very neatly. No water in basement, so far! Because they did such a great job in the front, we contracted with them again, to do a similar waterproofing in the back, June '25. They had to break up and remove an old concrete patio slab, (which was pushing water toward the foundation) same waterproofing process long foundation as in front and then installed a beautiful flagstone patio with dry-stack stone walls on either side! Henry, who built most of the stone wall, is an incredible artisan! The whole crew were so nice (Zech supervised, again) and left everything nice and neat. We couldn't be more pleased and will definitely call them again for other projects. (We had to wait a while for the work to begin, because they are very busy, plus weather delays, but always great communication with Paul at their office!!)

J&G did a major yard project for us six years ago: hardscaping, outdoor lighting, water mitigation, landscaping, and some carpentry. Their hardscaping, lighting, and water mitigation work was exceptional. It all still works and looks gorgeous - we get compliments frequently. They did a pretty good job with the landscape design and their carpentry work was ok. I would hire them again in a heartbeat for hardscaping or water runoff work. But I don't need to because their work holds up so well. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for - excellent quality.
