Curbside requires an annual 1 year contract which they automatically renew (unless you call them in advance of the annual renewal date). In order to cancel their service they require a $100 cancellation fee. They have tossed our waste bins around randomly. We just had a branch on a tree in our front yard torn off by the bin coming down from a height and hitting it. They also charge separately for Yard Waste but it is a separate account that it is difficult to locate on their website. At one point they just stopped yard waste pick-up (without notice) because that bill (an annual one) was not timely paid. They seem very corporate. The cancellation process took more than 30 minutes on the telephone (you can't cancel on their website).
