Insurance company booked to remove major water damage from ice dams. Did a good job but noisy and while they tried to keep down the mess their was still lots of dust. Insurance company paid the bill.

Responded to request to assess and recommend repair of water damage. Proposed method of cleanup/repair had potential of spreading mold spores through house. Actively discouraged idea of using an alternative method of access to evaluate the issue, although Ins. adjuster was fine with doing so. Received impression it was an area of work they had no experience in, and did not want to sub out. Said they were forbidden by insurance company to use a plumber as a sub, we had to obtain our own. (Insurance co. later said they had no issue).
