I contracted with Blue Sky to replace the current chimney crown, tuck point many areas on the chimney with missing/broken mortar joints, cap a couple unused flues, and install a new flashing where the chimney meets the roof. Unfortunately, they did a poor job on new chimney crown, a very poor job on the tuck pointing and did not complete the flue caping correctly. I did make them come out a 2nd time to fix everything, however, had I not gotten up on the roof to check their work after their 1st visit, I would have never known how poorly their initial work was. No homeowner should ever have to climb up on their roof to ensure that the chimney work was done correctly and so even though they came back a 2nd time to fix everything I would never recommend them.

Blue Sky did a great job of a chimney cleaning and provided photos and information about the need to re-line the chimney in order to meet building requirements. After getting bids and information from two other chimney contractors, I have decided to have Blue Sky do the chimney lining. I'll rate them on that when it's completed.
