John Menard knows that price, customer service, professional advice and clean stores will draw and keep customers coming back. Lowes is too expensive and can't find anyone to help with questions or products that aren't on shelves. Home Depot is dirty and one also can't find staff to help there either.

This store is difficult to navigate. the 2-story layout makes it hard to find what I need, I have had to wander around trying to find what I am looking for. Also, it is hard to find an employee there for help. When I recently made a purchase, the item was not available for pickup at the time it was supposed to be. Had to wait at least 20 minutes for them to find it and bring it to pickup counter. They said the purchase was complete, but as I walked out the door I was followed by a security person into the parking lot, who asked me to return to the store to prove I had purchased this item. Another 10-15 minutes to work out this problem. I guess and honest mistake on their part, but this is very customer unfriendly.

Menards got a good selection of products that we were looking for at a good price. Staff is polite, they do what is expected of them, I get rebates, so I really like Menards and I recommend them.
