We visited to have a vehicle repaired and the receptionist was nice enough, but the service was deplorable. We had a check engine light on, delivered the vehicle in the morning, and did not hear from Kremer by mid afternoon. We called and they indicated we were next in line to be reviewed. Late afternoon they called to say we had a complex issue (O2 sensor and other items) that would need further service and they would not get to it that day, but they would finish estimating it and call us the next day. We visited to retrieve the vehicle and were presented with a $189 bill for diagnostic and clearing the check engine light. This was never mentioned, but we paid it anyway. The next day we checked to see what the estimate would be and were told they would have it that afternoon. In the afternoon they called and said to complete the estimate, they would need more information on the car -- the license plate number and the VIN. We provided it (though they could have retrieved it the day before when they had the car all day), but it became very clear we may be dealing with a less than experienced technician. As such, when the check engine light came on again the next day, we visited another repair shop who ran the code, saw the issue, said the O2 sensor would be overkill, and had us out the door with a repaired vehicle the same day for less than the $189 Kremer charged us for a diagnosis. Car runs great. Also worth mentioning, we are AAA members, and Kremer is a recommended AAA shop -- supposed to provide a discount on labor to AAA members. We mentioned our AAA membership to Kremer and did not receive a discount on labor.

We've been impressed with their ability to diagnose and remedy vehicle issues. Before retirement, the company we worked for used Kremer Services and we were very happy with their service then. Can't judge prices charged since we didn't comparison shop this time around. Staff is friendly and keeps you informed of what's going on.
