My twenty-five year-old furnaced died a sooty death on a Tuesday. H&C2 was out with a replacement furnace on Thursday, and I had heat by the end of the day. The replacement quote covered several equipment options, and included all the details like utility rebates (they did all the paperwork) as well as any payment method discounts. The installers were efficient and knowledgeable. The got the old busted furnace out, and the new one in without scratching the basement walls, floors or stairs. They updated some venting so that the new install would meet the current codes and pass inspection (which it did). The new unit runs like a champ, and my utility rebate check arrived last week.

Solid work and good advice. I was very impressed with the detailed quote that listed options and everything was explained very well. Price was driven partly by the brand of furnace/AC each contractor carries. They were second lowest bid (out of 5) but had the brand I wanted. After installation, I had questions about programming the thermostat and they sent someone out to help me resolve it. I would feel confident in using them again.
