Would like choices for my dog’s dental probs. Very expensive to care for an old dog.

These vets are compassionate, concerned with giving the best, RIGHT care for pets from birth through death. I called them quite distraught because my brother's cat was obviously neglected and quite ill when I was forced to make a decision about Sid (the cat, not my brother!). The cat was terrified and panicked 24x7 and I could tell he just felt miserable with what seemed like diabetes. Because Sid was having panic attacks constantly, I knew the best way to go was to stop his suffering because he CLEARLY was barely staying sane. So I called over a dozen vet clinics for help with euthanasia. Every single one was so high-minded they wouldn't even consider it. Finally, the Scott-Carver Animal Humane Society said one of their partner clinics would likely be more merciful (please note that Cleary Lake vet partners to give charitable care and is called upon as a regular partner = gracious and giving people). I called and on the tail end of Saturday business hours said "no problem, get here soon but don't be crazy about it, we will fit Sid in no matter what." I cried with relief for Sid. The vet that helped me (I'm sorry I forgot his name) was completely compassionate and gently merciful with Sid, unhurried with me and explained that a vow vets take is truly for the entire life of an animal. I am forever indebted to these kind people for seeing me, a stranger, as truly someone who wanted the best outcome for Sid and not someone (as the other clinics inferred) that was looking to easily discard an unhealthy cat. Thank you, Cleary Lake!!!!!

Care for small animals at this vet is the best in the metro - bar none! My kitty had an aggressive cancer that has about a 10% survival rate, and Dr. Abram performed a surgery that was nothing short of miraculous, and my kitty is alive and thriving. From the first time I visited there, I felt like they treated us like family -- everyone on staff is incredible! I hate letting the secret out, but they deserve the praise. I first visited the facility during an open house and was very impressed. To top things off, all the vets are U of M alums and this is a nationally accredited facility for top care in the South Metro.
