I have had great service from Best Buy Geek Squad. I call them on my phone and they connect over the internet and they have found and fixed my computer problems. What they do is way beyond any computer knowledge that I have and they do the work, and it looks effortlessly, right on the screen that I watch.

Waited 1/2 hour with scheduled appointment. First they acted like they would help with computer. But first I needed to buy a plan and explained how useful the 1-year plan, although they thought my computer was too old (5 years) to be repairable. Then they told me they wouldn't "feel right" taking my money. Lots of chit chat in the back room before someone would come back out and tell me the current story.

Walked in with an emergency swollen battery in an Apple MacBook Pro. Explained that Apple wanted to make an appointment. Geek Squad looked at the machine, and said, this has to come out NOW.
They took it away and gave it a shot. After a bit they came out, apologized, and told me that their Richfield store was better equipped to handle this kind of emergency. They gave me a map and directions, and charged me nothing. The Richfield store succeeded.
