This is a mobile vet service. They come to your house and see your pet either in your home (less stress for your pet) or in their truck parked outside your home. Dental exams are done in their specialized facility. The staff is very caring & help you work within your budget. Staff is all certified in gentle handling techniques. My cat has been a patient for more than a year and has special needs. Staff & Vets are all great to work with. I highly recommend them for your pet.

Have used them for years with 3 different pets and always great service and friendly staff. They come to your house, saving the trauma of travel, etc. to pets and humans. This is essential to me and my pets. While the housecall fee is an extra cost, it saves me transport time and worry, and saves my pets from the trauma of being taken in the car and taken to a strange place.

I saw Christa Williams at Caravan Vet for treatment of my dog for chronic diarrhea and vomiting (ultimately diagnosed as pancreatitis) that was not successfully treated by another vet. I have seen Dr. Williams, who is the owner and sole veterinarian at Caravan Vet, a number of times for treatment of what had become a chronic condition that another vet had treated but with poor results. Dr. Williams immediately suspected pancreatitis and ordered a test that is very specific for this disease even though, as a chronic condition, it is very rare in dogs. Before we could obtain the test results (the test takes a number of days to run), she prescribed a treatment regimen under the assumption that her suspicion of his diagnosis was correct. (Pancreatitis can be very serious, even deadly, for dogs.) She radically altered his diet (to a very low fat prescription food), immediately gave him subcutaneous fluids, eliminated intake of all other foods, and prescribed two antibiotics. His symptoms began to abate within half a day after he had been sick for about 6 weeks! The test results confirmed her initial diagnosis, and he has had a series of follow-up visits. She may well have saved his life, or at least spared him a lifetime of insulin injections which would have resulted from a damaged pancreas. I learned that Dr. Williams is one of only a handful of board-certified general practice vets in MN. This means that she had much more extensive training than most vets and is required to do ongoing training to maintain her board certification. She is extremely caring, empathic, intelligent, and knowledgeable. She truly loves animals and has special interest and training for dealing with geriatric dogs and cats as well as animal dentistry. Amazingly, she works out of a large, custom built mobile clinic! So she comes to you (for a modest travel charge), or you can go to her (find her location by checking out her website) and save the travel charge. In my case, she had the antibiotics, IV fluids, and prescription dog food all available in her mobile clinic, so it was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend her!
