I have taken my 2 dogs to the VMC since 1994. My dogs have received excellent care. Also , everything is under one roof - specialty services and tests - which makes it very convenient.

They are great helping when my dog needed medical help. They were the only ones that figured out what was wrong with my dog.

We brought our dog here for emergency services and were told that our dog was “triaged” and deemed to be a less important case than others. After about 2 hours we asked for an update (we weren’t allowed to be in the room with him), and were told he hadn’t been seen yet. After a little over 4 hours we asked if his case wasn’t emergent could we just take him home and get in with our regular vet later that day? This was at about 4 in the morning. All of the sudden they come back and say his condition had deteriorated and they didn’t recommend him leaving and he would be the next examined. Did they even check up on him?! Then they came back saying he needed emergency surgery and tried to charge us $4,000. We went to a different hospital that opened up urgent care at 8am and had him seen immediately and had surgery that same day and they only charged us $1,030 with only $670 down, which was less than the entire cost of our visit at the U.
