Used this company for many years. 4 years ago they install a new boiler for my gas heat. From the very beginning the boiler would not turn off when thermostat was set to lowest setting, even in the summer. I had to turn the boiler off at the main switch. Each year the tech gave me an excuse stating the boiler was air bound and charged me for service and parts (over $1,300.00), but did not fix the problem. I called the manufacturer and asked what the problem might be and was advised it should shut off. Called another company, ECI heat and a/c. The tech knew exactly what the problem was a fixed it in 5 minutes....and no charge. It seems the heating sensors were not set properly. ECI even realigned my mini split discharge pipes on the outside of my house and did a beautiful job. When Smith did the same the pipes came apart soon after they were installed. I am not one to complain and gave Smith every opportunity to fix their work, but they could/would not.
