Solid company. It was responsive, came on time, and did the necessary repair.

When our 18-year-old electric Maytag dryer started to generate intermittent high pitch sounds and we were not ready to get a replacement, we called Presidential - and the problem was expertly fixed. The company gives a 1-year parts and 90 days labor warranty. The overall process was pleasant and efficient, and though the cost was on a higher end, the quality counts and we are certain that we could use this company if any of our appliances need an expert repair.

I made a mistake of not asking if they had a basic service charge when I called to schedule repair service. No question about the tech's qualifications. Tom came out checked the problem and quoted exorbitant price of $319 to remove and replace a defective part. If I did not want the service, I would have to pay $100 service charge. The call taker could have disclosed this up front. Lack of transparency! Part pricing was also quite high but I suppose that's the norm in this service sector.
