I need a repair to my car. Their parts prices are surprisingly good for a dealership. Their labor rate is $188 an hour, which is high even for a dealership. Much more egregious is that they bill additional hours. For the uninitiated, there are actually printed guides that list what repair, what vehicle, and how long it should take. To replace all of the spark plugs on my car takes 2.5 hours because of the parts that have to be removed. The dealership charges 5 hours "because that's what we charge." That adds $470 to the cost of just getting spark plugs changed.
