Our experience with Deska was good throughout, from the estimator providing options and explaining them thoroughly to project initiation and completion. The work was high quality and performed quickly. We particularly appreciated both the estimator and project team lead offering their thoughts on what would work best for us and options for limiting the scope and price of the project while still giving us the solution we needed. The only areas for improvement were connecting with an actual person on the phone to set up an appointment for an assessment, and the price being higher than what other companies offered. When the installer noticed a potential issue, he brought it to our attention immediately, and the estimator was very responsive and willing to talk through the options with us. We went with Deska because we thought the work would be worth the additional cost, and that proved to be the case.

We've worked with Deska on two occasions - once to have a structural engineer evaluate our property, and once to have them re-encapsulate and clean our crawl space and reinforce several floor joists. In both cases, they've been highly professional, easy to work with, and very responsive to communications. For the first visit, the structural engineer gave us an honest assessment, pointed out a few things to keep an eye on, and made a few suggestions. At no point did he try to sell us on anything or exaggerate the scale of a problem. Our experience with the crawl space was very much the same. We opted to have them reinforce the floor joists that the engineer had previously pointed out as part of the project, and everything was done on schedule and to our satisfaction. The work wasn't cheap, but felt fair, especially considering the difficulty we had trying to work with another company previously.
